Dear USAC’er,
At the last beleids-ALV we presented a new committee plan and now it is time for the first round of committee changes. We are doing this to make sure that every USAC’er gets a fair chance to participate in a committee and to add some variety. Please read the following message carefully: Signing up and changing committees will work as follows:
- Committees will change in April or October. The committees that will change in April are as follows:
- Feestcommissie
- Combiweekcommissie
- Introcommissie
- Wedstrijdcommissie
- Mediacommissie
- Borrelcommissie
- Anyone, including current committee members who want to stay, can sign up for a committee.
- Two spots per committee will be reserved for current committee members to ensure committee continuity.
- If there are few or no new applications for a committee, the committee may remain the same. This is not a bad thing, but then people have had a chance to join.
- At the time the current committee decides to step down entirely, a proper handover should take place and a handover document written. To do the first one, the new committee contacts the old committee. This is why it is important to have good minutes.
- Committee members who join the committee after October 2024 do not have to resign from the committee.
- A committee consists of about 8 people, does a committee ensures a spot on a a trip: then the committee basically consists of 6 people.
- You sign up for one year
You can apply for a committee that changes using the form below. You can give a first and a second choice and we ask you for a short motivation 🙂
