Interesting stories over a drink
Several times a year a lecture is organized, usually organized by the Vice-Praeses.
Sometimes the lecture is replaced by a movie night or other opportunity to have a drink.
At a lecture the speakers not only tell about the cool outdoor things they have done, but also tell how they achieved it and give useful tips to the audience.
Examples of topics that have come up: climbing the K2, crossing Greenland, what not to do in the Alps, altitude sickness, etc. Every year we also organize an avalanche lecture in preparation for the combi week and a lecture on tour planning, meteorology and EHBBO in preparation for the summer in the Alps. So you can get on the road safely, not only fun but also super useful.
